Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Supervisor to join our team at Surprise Lake Camp. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the camp, ensuring the well-being and safety of our campers, and providing guidance and support to our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the camp, including staff supervision and camper care
  • Develop and implement programs and activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social development of our campers
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive camp environment
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the camp facilities
  • Provide guidance and support to staff members, including training and evaluation
Requirements
  • Minimum of 21 years old
  • Previous experience in camping, education, or childcare
  • Leadership experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work with children of all ages
  • Ability to sit, stand, or maintain physical activity for extended periods of time
