About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our team at the Hollidaysburg Veterans' Home. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Document resident care and progress in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
  • Or, six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.
