HVAC Supervisor Job Description

Elwyn is seeking a skilled HVAC Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities' heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair HVAC equipment, including installation of new systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) in accordance with established schedules
  • Communicate daily with maintenance staff regarding facilities maintenance issues
  • Arrange work orders and complete tasks in order of priority
  • Maintain Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) refrigerant logs
  • Oversee the work activities of the Maintenance Repair Person
  • Provide back-up coverage for maintenance supervisors as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Five (5) years' experience as a technician in the HVAC service industry
  • One (1) year experience providing supervision preferred
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Knowledge of and proficient in relevant computer systems related to the field
  • Universal EPA Refrigerant Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent customer interaction and written and verbal communication skills
  • Current, valid driver's license in state of residence, three (3) years driving experience, and acceptable driving record
