Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates must hold a current state RN license and possess either a bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited nursing institution. Additional qualifications include:
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- TNCC certification preferred
- One year of nursing experience preferred
Department Overview
The RN in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab is responsible for assisting with cardiac and interventional radiology procedures while ensuring that quality care is delivered efficiently and safely, in accordance with departmental standards. The RN exemplifies performance aligned with the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the assigned unit and the organization. They must remain adaptable to evolving systems, demonstrating quality and effectiveness in their work habits and clinical practices, while treating colleagues, physicians, patients, and families with respect and consideration.
