Polysomnographic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. John. As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sleep studies, preparing patients and equipment for testing, and interpreting results to identify sleep disorders.

• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic sleep studies
• Prepare patients and equipment for testing, interview patients to determine sleep disorder issues, and explain testing procedures
• Collect, analyze, and integrate patient information to identify and meet patient-specific needs
• Score, interpret, and report results of sleep studies
• Prepare, calibrate, repair, and maintain equipment required for testing

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date
• One or more of the following certifications: Cert Polysomnographic Tech or Reg Polysomnographic Tchnlgst from the Board of Registered Polysomnograhic Technologists (BRPT)
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
