Job Description

As a Behavioral Health Technician at Haven Behavioral Healthcare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in our inpatient setting. This challenging yet rewarding position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will work closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care, adhering to established protocols and procedures
  • Conduct ongoing observations to identify potential safety risks and intervene promptly
  • Support patients in their daily activities, promoting independence and self-care
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address patient concerns and needs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in acute psychiatric care preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
