Job Summary

Olympic College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach College Success courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of the College Success program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction
    • Teach College Success courses, including College Success 110, in a variety of formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online.
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to promote student learning and success.
    • Provide individualized support and guidance to students, including academic advising and mentoring.
  • Program Development and Assessment
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of the College Success program, including curriculum design and assessment.
    • Participate in program evaluation and improvement efforts, including data analysis and reporting.
  • College and Community Engagement
    • Collaborate with College Success colleagues and other faculty members to promote a culture of student success and academic excellence.
    • Engage with local community partners and organizations to promote College Success and support student success.
Qualifications
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience
    • College-level teaching experience, preferably in a community college setting.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent teaching and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to promote student success and academic excellence.
