Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Sorter

CHEP is a leading provider of supply chain solutions, and we're seeking a motivated Warehouse Forklift Sorter to join our team in Westfield, MA.

Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and physically fit individual to sort pallets by hand for grading as they flow from the loading dock, production line, and throughout the facility. This role involves tandem sorting that requires high collaboration with other team members. May leverage hand tools to remove nails or debris from pallets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort pallets by hand for grading
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets
  • Remove nails or debris from pallets using hand tools
  • Operate a Sit Down Forklift safely and efficiently
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with working in an industrial, fast-paced environment with industrial equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Ability to understand and communicate information effectively
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and willing to learn
  • Ability to position pallets weighing up to 78lbs at least 63% of work shift
  • Ability to operate a Sit Down Forklift
