Position Overview

The Engineering division is dedicated to delivering safe, innovative, and cost-effective structural and construction engineering solutions for both internal and external clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.

The Structural Engineering Specialist plays a crucial role in utilizing engineering systems and technical drawings to coordinate projects and provide structural design services and models tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develops efficient designs for structural members and connections that align with client specifications.
  • Ensures the structural integrity and safety of buildings.
  • Enhances personal knowledge of advanced products and procedures while improving technical expertise.
  • Focuses on meeting departmental objectives, profitability targets, and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance team.
  • Meets customer design service requirements by adhering to design timelines.
  • Collaborates with project teams to identify challenges and devise effective, cost-efficient solutions.
  • Provides technical support to clients on specific projects and mentors new entry-level Designers.
  • Prepares structural quotations.
Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering licensure.
  • A minimum of 4 years of engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and specifications.
Preferred Education & Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in pre-engineered buildings (PEB).
  • Proficient knowledge of company products and design protocols.
  • Familiarity with company systems and applications.

  • Proficient in PC applications (including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
