Intelligence Surveillance Specialist

Colonial Downs Group LLC is seeking an experienced Intelligence Surveillance Specialist to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

• Casino Floor Monitoring: Utilize advanced surveillance systems, including video cameras, computer screens, monitors, digital recorders, access control systems, computer dispatch, video printers, switches, selectors, and direct observation to monitor casino floor activities.
• Incident Reporting: Identify, record, and document any illegal or unusual activities occurring in areas under surveillance, reporting them to relevant personnel promptly.
• Property-wide Coverage: Monitor all aspects of the property, including gaming, cage activity, food and beverage services, and facility security.
• Documentation and Reporting: Produce written reports and logs on observed violations and illegal activities in a timely manner.
• Surveillance Management: Maintain familiarity with surveillance equipment, including camera switching, reprogramming tools, and computer systems.
• Dispatch and Coordination: Control the surveillance dispatch system for calls to Control, determining call priorities and dispatching security, police, fire, traffic officers, maintenance, and facilities as needed during emergencies.

• A minimum of 1 year of related experience is required.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a state gaming license is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary, along with proficiency in email, word processing, spreadsheets, routine database activity, and record-keeping.
• Basic knowledge of investigations and the ability to sit for long periods are also required.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

This role may involve working in dark areas, viewing video monitors for extended periods, and interacting with employees and guests. A valid driver's license with three years of driving experience is beneficial.
