Job Summary:

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to join our Radiology team at our freestanding outpatient facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of M.R. and x-ray imaging procedures that require independent judgment and resourcefulness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform M.R. and x-ray imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Provide exceptional patient service and communication
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from a 2-year AMA-approved Radiology school or a 1-year MRI technologist program
  • New Jersey license in Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT registration (MRI) (R) and MRI certification (MR)
  • Multimodality/CT experience and certification a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
