Neuromuscular Neurologist

The Department of Neurology at MUSC Health & Medical University of SC is seeking a highly qualified Neuromuscular Neurologist to join our faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our program, while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

• Provide expert care to patients with nerve and muscle diseases, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex cases.
• Teach and mentor medical students, neurology residents, and Neurophysiology fellows, promoting excellence in education and research.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical trial research programs, collaborating with colleagues across the university.
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees, contributing to the advancement of neurology and neuromuscular medicine.

• MD or equivalent degree.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology and Neuromuscular diseases.
• EMG and/or Clinical Neurophysiology expertise.
• Strong teaching and mentoring skills, with experience in medical student and resident education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
