Job Summary

Team Fishel is seeking an experienced Underground Telecom Crew Leader to join our Telecom Construction division in Versailles, IN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing job site situations, maintaining a safe working environment, and ensuring accountability for safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Review plans and permits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Establish daily crew goals and objectives to meet project deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met
  • Assign job duties and tasks to crew members to optimize productivity
  • Monitor progress and evaluate crew performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Evaluate teammates' performance and provide coaching and feedback to enhance their skills

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Competent Person Training in Trenching and Excavation
  • Certification in First Aid/CPR is desired
  • Basic Aerial Placement is desired
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work-related experience
  • Three years related experience in construction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teammates and customers
  • Backhoe, Trencher Operator is desired
  • Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License strongly preferred
