Essential Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of experience in developing tools and processes aimed at advancing DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, regression testing, monitoring, and release management across various environments.
  • Proficiency in contemporary software development methodologies and integrating cloud developer services.
  • Experience in automating workflows using scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with helm-based package deployments.
  • Expertise in creating cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes and containerized workflows.
  • Experience in provisioning traditional VM host-based resources within a cloud setting.
  • Ability to devise solutions for complex challenges within a collaborative team framework.
  • Understanding of cloud design principles, encompassing security, scalability, and performance.
  • TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • More than 3 years of experience in troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline inefficiencies.
  • Experience in managing Kubernetes clusters via self-hosted or managed service options.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML models and deployment strategies for AI/ML.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML cloud services and vector store infrastructure.
  • Experience in cloud tenant monitoring, billing, reporting structures, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Proven experience in deploying public-facing applications with authentication mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code technologies, including CloudFormation, Terraform, or other CNCF technologies.
  • Knowledge of best practices in Cloud Networking and adaptable IAM policy strategies.
  • Security or Cyber Certification is advantageous.
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is essential.

Salary at Booz Allen is influenced by various factors, including location, the individual’s unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The anticipated compensation range for this role is between $96,700.00 and $220,000.00 annually. This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen's overall compensation package for employees.
