Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Professional to work in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Overview

This position involves performing procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards using CT scanners and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high level of proficiency in operating these machines and ensuring the safety of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Examine requests and verify orders on each assigned patient, referring any discrepancies to the Radiologist.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and documenting relevant information.
  • Assist other medical personnel, such as anesthesia, during exams or services related to CT scans.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, with advanced registry from the ARRT in CT scanning within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification.
