Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. As a Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in manufacturing and packaging our product line, while working to strengthen and enhance our workflow and organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and package our personal care products, including soaps, scrubs, and oils
  • Execute timely production and development of goods
  • Meticulously follow and replicate recipes for each product
  • Package each product to the quality standards of Palermo Body
  • Research ways to increase productivity and reduce production time
  • Assist in tracking raw materials and effective stock management
  • Log raw materials and finished goods inventory
  • Stock products, keeping finished inventory organized and easily accessible for shipping
  • Unloading and organizing raw materials and packaging shipments
  • Packing case packs, pallets, and occasional orders with care and attention to detail
  • Participate in shared 'housekeeping tasks' such as sweeping, cleaning production dishes, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in a similar role, previous experience working in skincare is not required, however, experience in food preparation, service industry, retail or other manual labor positions is ideal
  • Acute attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with the team
  • Physical strength to lift boxes up to 40 lbs and stand on your feet for 7-8 hours a day
  • Positive energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to take direction
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing situations
