Job Title: Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Vidant Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries or illnesses and achieve optimal physical function.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a variety of physical conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular disorders. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical limitations and develop treatment plans to address these limitations.
  • Administer physical therapy treatments, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy, to help patients achieve optimal physical function.
  • Conduct patient education and training on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and other topics related to physical therapy.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree from an APTA-accredited school of physical therapy.
  • Less than three years of licensure.
  • Current valid license or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist by the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
