Storage Architect

Bombardier is seeking a highly skilled Storage Architect to join our team in Wichita, ADMN / MFG, Learjet. As a Storage Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies, while ensuring compliance with ITAR regulations.

• Design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that meet ITAR compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT infrastructure solutions.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data and systems in accordance with ITAR guidelines.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Participate in audits and assessments to verify adherence to ITAR regulations and best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure design, implementation, and compliance processes.
• Stay updated on ITAR regulations and industry best practices to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• University Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical degrees.
• Minimum 3 years training (academic AND on the job) in Enterprise Storage and Architecture or Industry certification.
• 3-5 years of experience as Storage specialist, architecture solutioning/governance.
• 4 years of experience in Information Technology or Design Engineering.
