Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper to join our team at the Wyndham Smoky Mountains Resort. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the resort's grounds to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain resort grounds on a daily basis, including picking up and disposing of trash, maintaining clean conditions in refuse areas, and keeping roadways, loading/unloading areas, parking garage, and walkways free of litter.
- Monitor water/sprinkler systems throughout the resort to ensure they are at peak efficiency and in good repair.
- Assist the Maintenance and Grounds Departments as needed, including cleaning and maintaining landscaping tools and equipment.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of outdoor facilities, safely operating landscaping equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, guests, and owners.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Technical skills in landscape equipment operation.
- At least six months of related landscaping experience.
