We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team in California to support our Deep Space Network (DSN) program with JPL and NASA. This position is located in Monrovia, CA.

The Deep Space Network is an international array of giant radio antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions, plus a few that orbit Earth. The DSN also provides radar and radio astronomy observations that improve our understanding of the solar system and the larger universe. The antennas of the Deep Space Network are the indispensable link to explorers venturing beyond the moon. They provide the crucial connection for commanding our spacecraft and receiving their never-before-seen images and scientific information on Earth, propelling our understanding of the universe, our solar system, and ultimately, our place within it.

As a senior software developer, you will be responsible for designing solutions, directing a team of software engineers, and developing capabilities to support customer missions. In an agile and fast-paced environment, you will work with the customer to identify needs, translate those needs into actionable work, and guide a team of skilled software developers and participate in turning whiteboard concepts into reality.   • You'll be the technical/development lead for DSN O&M Program MAPI applications and tool suite
  • Document client requirements, system architecture, test plans, and test cases
  • You'll develop software design artifacts to capture high-level design elements
  • You'll create work structures for a team of software developers in the form of agile user stories
  • You'll support software development/completion of user stories
  • Work with the development team to verify and validate all changes to the system and ensure that requirements are met, troubleshoot test and production issues, and support system upgrades

Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on industry standards and market conditions.
