POSITION OVERVIEW
Under moderate supervision, the Software Applications Specialist is tasked with the configuration, adjustment, testing, and upkeep of software applications. This role emphasizes the development of collaborative partnerships with hospital management, Information Systems, and various departments to enhance the utilization and acceptance of the software systems. Responsibilities may include undertaking more intricate configuration tasks and addressing advanced technical issues. The specialist also provides secondary support to end users, ensuring consistent application system availability and performance. Additionally, the role may involve maintaining system integrity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background:
Associate degree in a business or technology discipline - required
Certifications & Licenses:
- Additional IT-related certifications may be necessary (e.g., specialized expertise, project management, or other postsecondary education degrees).
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.
