Job Summary:
At Ivory Plains Recovery Center, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized care to patients aged 18 and older in a supportive and non-judgmental environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record system
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in patient care
  • Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote patient-centered care
  • Ensure a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff

Requirements:
  • 12 months of prior nursing experience required; psych experience preferred
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Certifications: BLS and CPI
  • Ability to perform CIWA/COWS assessments, conduct Urine Analyses, and set and maintain firm, empathic boundaries

Work Environment:
  • Work in a unit with a 1:1 nurse/patient ratio during night shifts
  • Collaborate with 2-3 Behavioral Health Associates (techs) from 7 PM to 11 PM, and 1 tech from 11 PM to 7 AM
  • Wear scrubs in compliance with the dress code
  • Work assigned 3-12 hour shifts, including weekends as needed and every other holiday
