Heavy Equipment Operator

A skilled Truck Driver - Water Tanker is needed to perform a variety of tasks, including transporting water for construction projects and operating a water truck. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement and a strong understanding of DOT regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Transport Water: Drive a tank truck to transport water for construction projects or to provide water for use on the construction site.
- Operate Water Truck: Run and operate a water truck, ensuring it remains in proper and safe working order.
- Maintain Vehicle: Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels and inspect the vehicle for leaks and damage.
- Drive Tri-axel Truck: Drive a tri-axel truck and trailer for asphalt/paving operations.
- Education: A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
- Experience: One year or more of industry-related experience is required, with an emphasis on roads, highways, underground utilities, and bridges.
- Licenses and Certifications: A valid Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement is required.
The work environment will expose employees to various substances commonly found on construction sites, including form oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel, and ready mixed concrete.
This role requires frequent work outdoors in all weather conditions and near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
