Position Overview

As a Merchandising Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in executing installations as part of store remodels, vendor-assisted projects, decommissioning efforts, disaster recovery operations, and various corporate initiatives. This position requires flexibility to work both daytime and overnight shifts. You will also be responsible for assessing the work completed by authorized external contractors and providing necessary functionality support. Your duties will include setting up planograms and graphics, implementing innovative technologies, and ensuring that our retail locations are fully operational each day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute company-sponsored merchandising tasks, including intricate interactive display setups, audiovisual support, signage implementation, and installation of product security measures.
  • Install sophisticated built-in appliances within kitchen displays.
  • Provide project merchandising and store display functionality support within established timelines.
  • Assist in training new team members through job shadowing and sharing effective practices.
  • Introduce new interactive displays and technologies.
  • Perform basic and intermediate functionality support on store interactive displays.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor-supplied displays.
Essential Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A minimum of 3 months of proven experience in merchandising, technical support, or functionality assistance.
  • Capable of safely using small hand tools, light-duty power tools, and other in-house equipment.
  • Willingness to work overnight and weekend shifts.
  • Able to travel up to 75% of the year.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
