About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Brookdale Glen Ellyn. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence and dignity.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
  • Help residents with household tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
  • Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Requirements
  • Completion of training/certification may be required, based on state regulation.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
