Handyman Specialist

Job Description:

Caring Transitions is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and light repairs on rental properties. Your duties will include replacing existing light fixtures, installing/ replacing kitchen and bathroom faucets and traps, installing bathroom vanities, shower surrounds, interior/exterior slab doors, and cased doors. You will also be responsible for installing kitchen cabinets and countertops, following to-do lists, and demonstrating a "get it done" attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and light repairs
• Replace existing light fixtures
• Install/replace kitchen and bathroom faucets and traps
• Install bathroom vanities
• Install shower surrounds
• Install interior/exterior slab doors and cased doors
• Install kitchen cabinets and countertops
• Able to follow to-do lists
• Get it done attitude

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a handyman
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing
• Basic math skills
• Good communication ability
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving
• Attention to detail

Work Environment:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Experience:

• Electrical wiring (Installing Fixtures): 4 years (Required)
• Plumbing (Installing Fixtures): 4 years (Required)
• Home Maintenance: 4 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
