Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team at Dot Transportation, Inc. As a professional driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting product from suppliers to our customers and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate DTI equipment to transport product in a safe and efficient manner
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation, FMCSA, and other governing bodies
  • Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods for all jobs except no-touch freight
  • Meet established company goals, including managing MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed
  • Read and understand DTI load paperwork and product and packaging descriptions
  • Identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
Requirements
  • Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report or ability to obtain a Class A CDL
  • Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training)
  • Medical examiner certificate from a company-approved examiner
  • Ability to pass our physical ability test (PAT)
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language
  • Safety-first mindset
