We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our Neuro Stepdown team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating unit functions.
Responsibilities- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care and support improved outcomes.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring a smooth transition for patients.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to drive service excellence and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to enhance staff performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling and resource allocation to ensure optimal unit operations.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- A minimum of one year acute care Medical/Surgical/Neuro RN experience
- Leadership experience and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
