Governors State University's College of Arts and Sciences is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy. We are particularly interested in instructors who can teach courses in Ethics in Healthcare, Logic & Practical Reasoning, and Philosophy of Religion.
Key Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy
- Develop and implement course syllabi
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Masters degree in Philosophy or a closely related discipline
- Experience teaching undergraduate classes at an accredited college or university
- Preferred qualifications: Doctoral degree in Philosophy or a closely related discipline, experience teaching online, and experience teaching formal or informal logic
