Pharmacy Technician Lead

The Pharmacy Technician Lead is a key role within the Enterprise Pharmacy team, responsible for assisting with the management of staff and overseeing pharmacy operations. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Leadership: Lead and develop a team of pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, working to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, with a strong background in leadership and operations.
- Certification as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
