Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Figma is a leading design and collaboration tool that empowers teams to create and innovate together. We're seeking a talented Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team and help us build the future of design.
As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the core infrastructure to serve and deploy machine learning models efficiently. You will work closely with our ML engineers to build internal tools for model development and experimentation, and collaborate with our applied research and product engineers to improve our design and collaboration tool.
We're looking for someone with a strong background in machine learning and artificial intelligence, as well as experience in building scalable and efficient infrastructure. If you have a passion for innovation and a desire to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the core infrastructure to serve and deploy machine learning models efficiently
- Partner with ML engineers to build internal tools for model development and experimentation
- Collaborate with applied research and product engineers to improve our design and collaboration tool
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive solutions and improve our product
Requirements:
- 5+ years of backend or infrastructure experience
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, machine learning infrastructure, or data infrastructure
- Proven experience deploying ML models and implementing the full lifecycle of model development
- Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions
