About the Role

Arthur G Russell Company is a world leader in engineered-to-order custom assembly machinery. We are seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of complex automated assembly machines.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks. This is a full-time position, and typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Overtime is on an as needed basis and at the direction of the Mechanical Engineering Manager.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be around $115,000-$135,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate finished machine designs from general concepts using good judgment and investigation
  • Develop robust and effective equipment with minimal instruction
  • Collaborate with design team members and other subject matter expert coworkers during the design phase
  • Select application appropriate materials and components to meet performance and cost objectives
  • Produce 3D CAD assemblies and part models using SolidWorks or comparable software
