Job Description

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, registering customers, and closing out guest accounts upon completion of stay.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to effectively deal with internal and external customers. Ability to stand and move throughout the front office area is also required.
  • This role involves handling cash, making change, and balancing an assigned house bank. The successful candidate must possess basic mathematical skills and be able to accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
  • Able to access and retrieve mail, small packages, and facsimiles for customers as requested.
  • Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity.

Requirements

  • No prior experience required; prior hospitality experience preferred.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
