Certification Requirements- National Certifications Required: ARRT N, BLS, NMTCB CNMT
- BLS Requirement: Yes
- Role: Nuclear Medicine Technician
- Work Schedule: 5X8 Day Variable - Start times will vary based on departmental needs, typically between 7 AM and 9 AM, Monday through Friday.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
- First-time Candidates: Accepted
- Patient Visits: Approximately 30 per day
- Specialized Department: This position is designated for our PET department, with potential transfer to our new PET facility featuring the Quadra camera, one of only four in the nation.
- Proficient in adult patient care within a hospital setting
- Experience with Siemens equipment and PET scanning
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and handling radioactive materials
- Ability to initiate and maintain peripheral IVs
- Experience in drawing venous blood
- Previous leadership or charge experience
- Experience in a teaching hospital environment
- Familiarity with EPIC systems
- Shift: 5X8 Day Variable
- Weekend Requirement: No
- On-call Requirement: No
- Floating Requirement: May be required to float between two offices as needed
- Local Candidates: Not accepted (75 miles radius rule)
- Pending State License: Accepted
- RTO Restrictions: Maximum of 7 days
This role is integral to our PET department, with opportunities for growth and advancement within our state-of-the-art facilities.
