We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our esteemed facility. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional patient care within our advanced imaging department.

Certification Requirements
  • National Certifications Required: ARRT N, BLS, NMTCB CNMT
  • BLS Requirement: Yes
Job Responsibilities
  • Role: Nuclear Medicine Technician
  • Work Schedule: 5X8 Day Variable - Start times will vary based on departmental needs, typically between 7 AM and 9 AM, Monday through Friday.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
  • First-time Candidates: Accepted
  • Patient Visits: Approximately 30 per day
  • Specialized Department: This position is designated for our PET department, with potential transfer to our new PET facility featuring the Quadra camera, one of only four in the nation.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Proficient in adult patient care within a hospital setting
  • Experience with Siemens equipment and PET scanning
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions and handling radioactive materials
  • Ability to initiate and maintain peripheral IVs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in drawing venous blood
  • Previous leadership or charge experience
  • Experience in a teaching hospital environment
  • Familiarity with EPIC systems
Work Schedule Details
  • Shift: 5X8 Day Variable
  • Weekend Requirement: No
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Floating Requirement: May be required to float between two offices as needed
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted (75 miles radius rule)
  • Pending State License: Accepted
  • RTO Restrictions: Maximum of 7 days
