Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Multimodality Imaging Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures in multiple disciplines, with a focus on advanced modalities such as CT. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality multimodality procedures according to exam protocol and in a timely manner.
- Utilize AIDET principles when communicating with patients to ensure correct exams are performed and patients are properly informed.
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, adhering to safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Maintain equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure patient safety by screening individuals according to approved policies and procedures.
- Verify and maintain relevant documentation, including patient history, pregnancy status, and shielding precautions.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities of equipment.
- Report issues to management or appropriate departments as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Current certification in radiologic technology or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in multimodality imaging, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even in stressful situations.
