We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Amazing Mex Foods LLC. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in managing restaurant operations, in partnership with or in the General Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance
  • Monitor staffing levels; recruit, interview, and provide hiring recommendations
  • Train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance; ensure systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed
  • Assign activities and tasks to other members of the team
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management and Team Leader positions
  • Treat employees with respect and dignity
  • Regularly recognize and reward employees for their work
  • Comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Hold restaurant team accountable for consistently delivering excellent guest service and food quality in adherence to brand systems, procedures, and food safety requirements to provide an exceptional guest experience
  • Review practices and modify as needed to improve the guest experience continuously
  • Interact with guests and the community; respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive resolution and guest recovery
  • Maintain brand image by ensuring restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service
  • Partner with the restaurant manager in using management information tools to analyze restaurant operational and financial performance
  • Identify trends and implement action plans for improvement
  • Focusing efforts on developing long-term sales growth initiatives designed to drive profitable sales growth
  • Consider cost/benefit impact of financial decisions and work to protect the brand
  • Monitor costs and adherence to budget and restaurant goals
