Job Title: Route Delivery Driver

GA Foods Inc is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Route Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality meals to seniors and other at-risk populations in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver meals and supplies to customer homes in a safe and efficient manner
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure all is in working order
  • Report any deficiencies or problems to supervisor promptly
  • Assist with packing and/or storing of food items, components, and/or supplies as required
  • Communicate effectively with Customer Service and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in all required company training and adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Valid NJ driver's license with a good driving record
  • Three (3) years of route delivery experience preferred
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with GPS and tablet technologies
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull medium warmers on wheels
  • Current ServSafe Food Safety Certification
  • Must be able to pass a Level II Background Check
Physical Demands:
  • Under 1/3 standing time
  • Ability to walk, climb, or balance
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Taste or smell
  • 1/3 to 2/3 use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms
  • Over 2/3: sit, see, talk or hear
