We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to expectant mothers and their families during the labor and delivery process.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients during labor and delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as codes and rapid response teams, to ensure prompt and effective care.
- Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in labor and delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include National Certification in area of specialty.
