Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Instructor to join our team. As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that inspires and challenges them.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver music lessons and rehearsals that cater to the needs and abilities of students
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the School of Rock Method, ensuring students learn the fundamentals of music and develop life skills
- Communicate effectively with parents and students through regular updates and progress reports
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in rehearsals and contribute to the upkeep of lesson facilities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
- Strong knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
- Excellent customer relations skills and ability to work with diverse groups
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive demeanor
- Passion for teaching and music education
- Weekend availability is a plus
- Experience with other instruments is a plus
