Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Instructor to join our team. As a Music Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students, creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that inspires and challenges them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver music lessons and rehearsals that cater to the needs and abilities of students
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the School of Rock Method, ensuring students learn the fundamentals of music and develop life skills
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students through regular updates and progress reports
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in rehearsals and contribute to the upkeep of lesson facilities

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience teaching and/or performing music professionally
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and curriculum design
  • Excellent customer relations skills and ability to work with diverse groups
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive demeanor
  • Passion for teaching and music education
  • Weekend availability is a plus
  • Experience with other instruments is a plus
