Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Assistant Nurse Manager in our Post Surgical Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Vice President of Specialty Nursing Division to ensure seamless coordination and planning.
  • Mentor professional caregivers in the delivery of patient care and facilitate patient access, communication, and transitions throughout the acute care stay.
  • Ensure that competent, compassionate patient care is uniformly provided to customers, including referring facilities, hospital staff, and patients in inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.
  • Support the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the hospital's mission and departmental/unit vision and philosophy.
  • Provide direction and support to unit-based staff and collaborate with other service and department leaders toward attainment of short- and long-term goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop nursing staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations and policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in nursing leadership or management.
