Position Overview

As a Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Proactive Intelligence, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering innovative features across various Apple platforms. Your role will involve collaborating closely with software developers, project coordinators, and cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of software quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and cases for Proactive Intelligence functionalities.
  • Build and maintain automated testing frameworks using XCTest and Python, focusing on both UI and non-UI tests.
  • Regularly author and execute test cases, diagnosing failures to distinguish between product and testing issues.
  • Report and track feature defects effectively to enhance product reliability.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance roles.
  • Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Swift, Objective-C, Java, or C++.
  • Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python or Ruby.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills to resolve test failures and build issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in designing and maintaining test automation using XCTest with Swift or Objective-C.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI) technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

At Apple, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your skills and experience. The base salary for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, with additional opportunities for stock options and bonuses.
