Reports to: RSC General Manager

This role is responsible for leading a team of hourly employees through effective coaching and professional development, ensuring smooth operations that support member store orders while striving for operational excellence. Collaboration with the General Manager, fellow department heads, team leaders, all RSC personnel, corporate headquarters, business development teams, member stores, and vendors is essential. The primary operational focus is to guarantee a safe working environment while balancing productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage a team of 30-40 staff members, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, shipping, and small parcel processing.
  • Provide leadership in the application of Human Resource Policies and Procedures, including conducting annual performance evaluations and coaching on essential behaviors.
  • Collaborate professionally with Do it Best Corp. staff.
  • Address member store concerns with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Work alongside the management team to resolve employee issues in a timely, fair, and consistent manner.
  • Assign daily tasks to warehouse supervisors and provide coaching and performance feedback to associates.
  • Ensure efficient operations in accordance with established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and enforcing standards and complying with legal regulations.
  • Forecast staffing needs and performance metrics to meet business demands.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze reports to identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, maintaining a safe work environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective time management skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing distribution facilities and operations.
