Purpose and Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to provide independent clinical treatment services to targeted populations. This outpatient treatment program is designed to service patients with mental health diagnoses who meet criteria for outpatient and/or partial hospitalization treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains daily records of clinical productivity as instructed.
  • Provides individual and group therapy to patients in various settings, engaging families in the assessment and treatment processes when indicated.
  • Provides education to patients on recovery as appropriate.
  • Participates in regular treatment team meetings to discuss clinical cases, review and update patient treatment plans, and monitor therapeutic progress.
  • Utilizes a relevant and evidence-based treatment approach.
  • Conducts assessments of new patients using the identified format for documentation and clinical decisions.
  • Implements, improves, and adapts treatment concepts for application in service delivery.
  • Creates a treatment plan that includes a continuum of therapeutic, supportive, and other services for patients with varying needs.
  • Participates in regulatory and licensure preparation activities with program leadership.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or a related field.
  • Two years of clinical experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, as well as application of the current version of the DSM.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 33 with renewal.
  • Act 34 with renewal.
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
