Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, delivering and assessing response to ordered therapy, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition as appropriate. You will also evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver and assess response to ordered therapy per plan of care
* Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
* Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes, current research, and best practices
* Respond to codes and calls for emergent assistance
* Assess patient condition and deliver appropriate treatment utilizing appropriate protocols
* Educate the patient and family about the patient's illness and provide information about community resources

Requirements:

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support
* PALS Certification
* Neonatal Resuscitation Program
* BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date
* Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
* Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
* State licensure if required by law
