Reader in Physics

Job Overview

The University of California is seeking a highly qualified Reader to support the Physics Department. As a Reader, you will play a critical role in the academic success of our students by grading homework, quizzes, and tests as needed. You will work closely with the instructor and/or Teaching Assistants to ensure accurate and timely grading. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in academic support and contribute to the success of our students.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for grading assignments, quizzes, and tests as needed. You will work closely with the instructor and/or Teaching Assistants to ensure accurate and timely grading. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating with students as needed.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be an active UC Merced student in good standing and have successfully completed the course or related course you are appointed to as a Reader with at least a B Grade. You should have maintained at least a 3.0 grade-point average in your previous academic work.
