Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Utility Driver to join our team. As a CDL Utility Driver, you will be responsible for operating various types of trucks to collect and haul waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant. This role requires excellent driving and maneuvering skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate various trucks in a safe and efficient manner, complying with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers by emptying trash/recycling containers into the truck and hauling to a disposal site or recycling plant.
  • Pick up missed stops and/or routes as needed.
  • Deliver trash or recycling containers as needed.
  • Replace trash or recycling containers neatly at the curb or designated area.
  • Clean up waste spills and overflows.
  • Clean waste from the packer blade and truck body.
  • Maintain and update route and driver logs.
  • Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
  • Work flexible hours based on business needs.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class B CDL.
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain prior to hire.
  • At least 19 years of age.
  • No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
  • No DUI's or OVI's within the last 5 years or 2 in the last 10 years.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
