Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing the surgical suite and ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are available.
  • Work closely with the surgical team to maintain aseptic technique and ensure the highest level of patient safety.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a hospital or ambulatory surgery center.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
