Overview:
A reputable medical group specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to become a vital part of our outpatient multidisciplinary team focused on brain injury rehabilitation.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate and diagnose cognitive-linguistic disorders in adults who have sustained acquired brain injuries.
2. Collaborate regularly with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
3. Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to client needs.
4. Track and assess client progress using various screening tools and rating scales.
5. Maintain thorough and current documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes for reporting purposes.


Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
2. Valid and unrestricted California SLP license.
3. Strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered.
4. Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are preferred.
5. Experience in working with clients recovering from neurological conditions is highly desirable.
6. A minimum of one year of professional experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist is preferred.
7. MoCA certification is a plus.
8. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
