Maintenance Operations Specialist

The Maintenance Operations Specialist role at Theraplant is a critical position that involves ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities' equipment and systems. As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections to prevent equipment failures and ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily rooftop inspections to verify proper functioning of 45 RTUs with capacities ranging from 10 to 30 tons.
- Clean drains as needed and replace filters according to scheduled maintenance plans.
- Inspect heater cords and extension cords to guarantee they are in good working order.
- Collaborate with external contractors for repairs and servicing of RTUs.
- Assist in maintaining irrigation systems across all rooms.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of Dosatrons.
- Support the installation of new equipment arriving at the facility.
- Perform both minor and major repairs as necessary.
- Monitor building equipment regularly to prevent issues.
- Troubleshoot problems and determine necessary repairs.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance staff.
- Knowledge of general carpentry and repair work.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Related maintenance experience preferred.
