The Production Equipment Specialist is responsible for the setup and operation of manufacturing machinery in line with established protocols and standards. This role involves utilizing computer-controlled systems to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. The specialist will manage and fine-tune machine settings to ensure tasks are completed accurately, meeting specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a diverse range of processing machinery, including but not limited to saws, shears, press brakes, rollers, plasma cutters, and lasers.
  • Utilize various material handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, stacker cranes, side loaders, and yard dogs.
  • Interpret and analyze basic blueprints effectively.
  • Employ measuring instruments like tape measures, box calipers, slide dial calipers, and micrometers.
  • Convert fractions to decimals and perform addition and subtraction in both fractions and decimals.
  • Deliver high-quality work to all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the output aligns with the expectations of the role.
